Sweaty Betty Foundation
SPORTS hijab CAMPAIGN

This #internationalwomensday @sweatybetty and @sweatybettyfoundation teamed up to inspire inclusion and break down the barriers that women and young girls face, in sports and everyday life.

Working alongside This Girl Can and @officialsportengland The Foundation discovered that the hijab can be a barrier to girls participating in sport.

Together, with activist Lipa Nessa Sweaty Betty created a brand-new Sports Hijab that better supports modesty while moving.

We were asked to help tell the story through film and stills.

“A queen with her crown”

We spent the day with Lipa Nessa, Karima Elouath, Mahnoor Rauf, Sabah Mahmood, Hina Shafi and Yasmin Hussain as they shared their insight around the new Sweaty Betty Hijab and how it makes them feel.

THE mission is to empower women through fitness and beyond.

The Sweaty Betty Foundation Hijab was created by Muslim women and their allies. Seeing it come together in real life? We love it.

PRESS DAY @ RIDING HOUSE CAFE, BLOOMSBURY, LONDON

We supported Sweaty Betty to dress their press breakfast with gift boxes, branded goods and display artwork. A breakfast that saw campaign talent Lipa_Nessa interviewed by TV Sports presenter Gabby Logan.

“The statistics that have come out about young girls dropping out of sports is so disappointing, because we know sport is such a positive part of life. So if the new Sports Hijab can stop this, that’s amazing” - Gabby Logan.
