TAKING_INSPIRATION_FROM_THE_ARCHIVE


We were approached by our friends at Ellesse to create a visual identity for the LSR - the first new Ellesse shoe design in over fifteen years. Working alongside Till Jagla from Flowers for Society / Ex Adidas, the creative team at Ellesse sculpted a brand new sneaker from their rich archive of product to create a piece of footwear that boasts an aesthetic that is luxurious, edgy and fresh.

We then developed a brand identity and graphic concept around the shoes both features with a brief that asked for an impactful, monochrome, noisy analog feel to its presentation.

LAYERS_

Success for this brief saw the LSR lead with a clean a luxury styled word mark. Simplistic in form and solid.

Supported with an individual edge that steals from its own build. The shapes in the sole form are brutal, harsh and contrasting.

The design inspiration is the mixture of the two creative aesthetics applied with tone on tone giving us the LSR look & feel.

The LSR box is made from a fully recycled card finish with plant inks and no spot finish.
We try as hard a possible to keep our boxes as sustainable os possible where card is re-used pulp and stocks.
